Accommodation

Accommodation is diverse, comfortable and carefully chosen to fit our needs, this includes camping, comfortable youth hostels, luxury apartments, lodges, outdoor centers and indigenous dwellings.

Meals

Whether a picnic, BBQ or birthday celebration, meals are fresh, tasty, healthy and varied. Breakfast and dinner are provided daily for you as we leave the lunch hour open for you to try local cuisine.

Transport

Vans are cool. You will be travelling in a multitude of stylish vans as you cruise around Australia and New Zealand. It's hard to travel over oceans with a van, so for those occasions you will be flying.

Flights

You are responsible for your flight to Los Angeles, but we take care of flights to New Zealand, Australia and back to Los Angeles.

Extensions

The Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania, Ayers Rock... We can help you figure out where to go after your trip as you explore the land down under.

Academic Credit

Academic credit is an optional, but integral component of this program based on the philosophy that ‘real world’ educational opportunities are often a far more effective way of learning than following a conventional classroom routine.

Activities

On the Pacific Challenge you engage in a number of activities that will challenge you and help you grow as a person. The confidence, and comraderary you gain through these activities is a part of what makes the journey so special.
